The early lineup of BABYMETAL featured SU-METAL (Suzuka Nakamoto), MOAMETAL (Moa Kikuchi), and YUIMETAL (Yui Mizuno). This trio formed the group’s core, and they began as a subgroup of Sakura Gakuin—a Japanese idol group. They first achieved moderate success in 2011 with their debut single ‘Do Kiba Snow’, and quickly gained prominence in Japan’s metal scene.
