From Tuesday, August 2nd through Saturday, August 6th, 2022 Legend Valley, Ohio was the Dark Carnival home for the 22nd annual Gathering of the Juggalos and triumphantly reunited the Juggalo Family for another unforgettable captivating festival experience! The Gathering of the Dreams was truthfully a magical weekend of powerful music, mad clown love, poop trick dollars, Juggalo beauty, and carnival rides/food greatness. And Noise from the Pit had a damn good Gathering! We wish we could DeLorean time travel and witness it allover again! Here are our top 10 (in no order) Gathering of Dreams performances! P.S. Shout out to all of Psychopathic Records for another monumental Gathering opportunity! And of course huge shout out to all the talented photographers for contributing their professional Gathering of Dreams shots towards this write-up!
McNastee
The Wicked Underground hip-hop legend, known across the globe as McNastee, completely dominated the Nightmare Stage during the 22nd annual Gathering of the Juggalos! His influential rhyme schemes and prolific stage presence had the Juggalos cheering all through out his set! Especially when the Arizona based emcee dived into his “Killmatic” persona. The crowd went beyond bonkers for it! More people need the “hip-hop you can relate to” music of McNastee in their lives. And we here at Noise from the Pit can guarantee that those present who were first time witnessing the indie hip-hop brilliance that McNastee displayed at the Gathering of Dreams, became new life long die hard fans of his signature flows!
Green Jellÿ

Hailed as the worst band to ever open for The Ramones. The California punk rock puppet masters Green Jellÿ (AKA Green Jello) brought forth pure rock ‘n’ roll filth and pandemonium at its finest during the Gathering of Dreams! This was through gigantic puppet mosh pits, tons of toilet paper flinging around the audience, and high voltage foulmouthed punk rock tunes, that lead to the Juggalos roaring at the top of their lungs for more Green Jellÿ, long after their awe-inspiring Nightmare Stage set finished. INCREDIBLE! with that being said, frontman Bill Manspeaker deserves all the success he has achieved with Green Jellÿ due to the bands addictive chaotic originality that always leaves you foaming at the mouth for more!
Madd Maxxx
During the Witching Hours. The Dirtcore Music phenomena Madd Maxxx wholeheartedly shook the Gathering of Dreams to its very core with a snuff-like stage presentation! The audience gasped in horror as Madd Maxxx tortured a gag bound woman on stage, b-rated horror movie style. While he dropped blood soaked bars and swung around a real katana blade. It was beyond intense! But Madd Maxxx’s Gathering of the Juggalos 2022 set served as a metaphor reminder towards how cruel the world can be. And that we as a human race can bring forth brightness inside this fucked up world with the power of music. P.S. Violent J is the one who coined Madd Maxx’s stage name nearly twenty years ago at the Lotus Pod!
Super Humman
The viral Juggalo stunt madman that is Super Humman absolutely obliterated himself inside the Dream Tent at the Gathering of Dreams, alongside the P.O.R. Stunts crew! Super Humman even elbow dropped through a table of thumbtacks. And elbow dropped through a table with somebody else already laying on the table too! With all sorts of spectacular wacky back-breaking stunts, Super Humman has further proved to the entertainment masses that he’s most bold stunt performer the underground has witnessed with their own eyes in the last decade! Even a select few of the Jack Ass crew would be too scared to pull off the type of stunt chaos Super Humman does to himself without dying!
Scythe Gang 666

Trap metal beasts Scythe Gang 666 have been hailed as the future of heavy music. They massacred the Nightmare Stage late at night when their fierce energetic stage presentation that immediately had the Juggalos letting loose in the pit as if it were their last hours to live! Michael Vanson’s signature screams were so omnipotent to the point that it evoked a sense of Grim Reaper Gangster drive-by fear through his hellish screeches. As the combined chaotic energies from the metallic hip-hop drumming from Ski Mask the Drum God and the hardcore influenced riffage from Maezi (lead guitar) and King Zabb (bass) instantaneously made you feel as though you were powerful enough to swan dive right off the stage, straight into the circle pit! The Juggalos even chanted family in honor of Scythe Gang 666’s spectacular debut Gathering presentation. Which in itself is further proof that Scythe Gang 666 truly are the future of heavy music.
Ho99o9

New Jersey’s groundbreaking hardcore hip-hop punks Ho99o9 presented an intense raw mind-melter of a Gathering performance! Which at first, had the Juggalos stuck in some type of frozen trance of heavy metal bliss as if they were experiencing some sort of surprise rock ‘n’ roll LSD trip. Right before majority of the crowd decided to burst into a massive mosh pit of disarray and rage through out Ho99o9’s entire performance. And that’s due to Ho99o9’s break-neck speeds behind perfectly meshing 1980’s hardcore influenced tunes with a side of super sonic electro drum ‘n’ bass that had Juggalos straight up going berserk mode, Godzilla frat party style!
Dana Dentata
Rising Toronto underground rap metal vocalist Dana Dentata unleashed a swarm of Dark Carnival fury the very second she stepped out onto the Nightmare Stage sporting an entire clown outfit with superb clown make up. Then shortly after, she boldly dived right into her ultra freaky side as she revealed her gorgeous body alongside a vivid deathly glare towards the audience before venturing into darker music material. Dana’s live bone-chilling Otep influenced screams could quite literally summon the dead to awake to kick off an army length mosh pit. While her ferocious stage presence had the Juggalos clamoring for a longer set time! Simply put. Dana presented a spine shocking stage show that left you mentally battered and bruised. But at the same time, somehow feeling more alive than ever before!
Mushroomhead
The lights started to go dark and the drums began to signal that mosh pit heaven was about to arrive to and fuck things up! As thousands witnessed an abundant of letter X’s emerged from the Nightmare Stage. The audience then exploded in sheer excitement as they suddenly realized that the Cleveland, Ohio industrial metal masters Mushroomhead were back at the Gathering of Juggalos to wreak havoc through theatrical black-light brutality! The Juggalos shouted out every lyric during their gut-wrenching audio-visual masterpieces. As Mushroomhead sported intriguing clown masks to honor Insane Clown Posse and their loyal Juggalo fan base while the masked legends were successfully delivering another flesh ripping stage show! The entire band went above and beyond 100 percent to rock faces off to show the whole world that after nearly 30 years of being a band, Mushroomhead can still throw-down an epic live heavy metal extravaganza!
The Detroit, Michigan Godfather of the Wicket Shit indubitably brought forth another pure volcanic underground hip-hop fire set for the Juggalo masses! With back to back classics and and a slew of horror-filled bangers from Esham’s mighty influential Reel Life Productions catalogue. The crowd was beyond thrilled to be able to sing a long all through out Esham’s therapeutically stunning Gathering of Dreams stage show! Truly iconic! Nuff said!
Insane Clown Posse’s Super Mix Juggalo Juke Box Show & Gathering 2022 finale
The wicked clowns always know how to properly get an audience jumping out of their skin in mad hyped anticipation right before slaying the stage with gallons upon gallons of rocket launched Faygo 2 liters. Especially when it involves classic tracks the Insane Clown Posse have never performed live before.
The “Super Mix Juggalo Juke Box Show” magically opened with their joyful super freshness of a track “Here Comes The Carnival”. And awesomely closed out with an unforgettable Faygo Armageddon for its super positive “Be Safe” anthem! With the Super Mix Juggalo Juke Box Show Gathering of Dreams presentation, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope have rightfully created another “always to be remembered” iconic concert experience through glorious Dark Carnival nostalgia and drenched in Faygo mayhem! P.S. Ouija Macc was brought out by the clowns to rock the stage via the “Fearless Fred Fury” heavy hitter single “I’m That Type” and completely murder the mic! ICP’s Saturday night set was fire too!
