Have You Heard Danzig Album “Danzig sings Elvis”?

This show follows Danzig’s 2020 album, Danzig Sings Elvis, which featured 14 tracks of Danzig’s unique interpretation of Elvis classics such as “Always On My Mind” and “Is It So Strange.” The album received critical acclaim and solidified Danzig’s place as a versatile artist who can seamlessly transition between different genres.

Retiring from touring, but not from music

Danzig, Elvis covers show, Glenn Danzig, Elvis Presley, Montalban Theatre, Hollywood, Valentine's Day, February 10, retiring from touring, new music, Danzig Sings Elvis, Black Laden Crown, rock and roll, one-off show, tickets, limited tickets, special performances, Montalban Theater, Valentine's Day weekend.

The Elvis show is also a rare opportunity to see him live performing, mainly as it tracks his recent comments about retiring from touring. In 2022, Glenn Danzig stated, “I don’t think I’m going to tour anymore. I’m just going to fly out to a show here or there. I’ll maybe be down to do some one-offs. But I don’t see myself getting on a tour bus anymore … Yeah. I think I’m done.” So this show is a must-see for fans who want to catch Danzig live before he hangs up his touring boots.

Danzig Sings Elvis Presley: Critical Acclaim For The Metal Icon’s Take On The King

While Glenn has nearly retired from touring, he has yet to retire from making music. In the same interview, he mentioned the possibility of new music in the future. He said he wasn’t interested in doing a record at the time, but his opinion could change. Danzig Sings Elvis was the last album of original material, and the previous album was Black Laden Crown, released in 2017.

“I write songs here and there. Lately, I seem to be writing more soundtrack stuff. I don’t know that I’m ever going to do another album again. I might do an EP or just record some songs and put them out for free on the internet. We’ll see. It depends. I’ve got to be excited about working in order to do it. And right now, I’m not that excited.”
