The Pantera reunion tour begins in just five days, people

We’ve been discussing this for months, but the first Pantera performance happens in Texcoco, Mexico, on December 2, at the Hell & Heaven Metal Fest. Pantera bass player Rex Brown seems rather excited about how things are sounding before their debut show with their current lineup, posting this on his Instagram page.

“Get ready folks, this is gonna be one Hell of a Ride…And then some!! This was the start of the ZW sessions that grew into a Monster…5 days ‘til Mexico City!! Bolt in…..”

Pantera’s upcoming live dates are listed below. Black Label Society guitarist Zakk Wylde will be playing with vocalist Phil Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown for the duration of the show. Alongside them,  Black Label Society guitarist Zakk Wylde (assisted by Dimebag’s guitar technician Grady Champion). In addition, Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante (who posted the first rehearsal photos of the band yesterday).

It’s been a long time coming for Pantera fans. Some wondered if there would ever be a Pantera reunion tour. After the tragedies of the Abbott brothers, it seemed unlikely. However, fans will be happy to know that there is finally going to be a Pantera reunion tour! This is great news for metalheads all over the world who have been waiting for years to see the legendary band back in action. The tour is set to kick off at the end of 2022 and will certainly be making a few runs in the United States soon enough.
