I am a music enthusiast with a deep love for the energy of crowded venues, loud music, & passionate fans. I have a diverse background that includes private security, talent buying, festival security planning, & media relations. I've also worked as a camera operator for various projects, including music videos featuring notable artists like Bernz, Tech N9ne, & Krizz Kaliko. Additionally, I am a camera operator for Full Moon Features, where I contribute to the production of horror movies.

ICE NINE KILLS’ guitarist DAN SUGARMAN is incredibly joyful to announce that he has successfully overcome cancer and is now cancer-free. This remarkable achievement is a testament to his strength, resilience, and unwavering determination. Dan’s journey has been challenging, but his positive mindset and the support from his loved ones and fans have undoubtedly played a crucial role in his recovery. We are elated for Dan and wish him nothing but continued health and happiness as he embarks on this new chapter of his life.

Now, in a heartfelt email update to the valued patrons of his online store, Sugarman shares the remarkable news that he has successfully undergone surgery and is now completely free from cancer! We wholeheartedly extend our warmest wishes to Sugarman for a smooth and steady recovery and fervently hope that he will never have to face the challenges of cancer again.

“When a mistake is made, its often times so easy to let the blame fall on anyone else but yourself… I have something to admit. I made some mistakes, and its time to make this right!” wrote Sugarman in the opening paragraphs of his announcement.

“With all of the orders that came through in support of my Thyroid Cancer discovery & recovery a few months ago, we didn’t have the personnel required to handle such volumes of orders! Update: don’t worry, I had surgery and am 100% healthy and c-free!”

Filling in for Sugarman is currently Doc Coyle (God ForbidBad Wolves) and Miles Dimitri Baker (InterloperVoidbringer). Sugarman’s original statement upon dropping off the tour is as follows.

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but there’s a reason for everything… And you’ve probably been wondering where I’ve been. I appreciate your love and support more than you could ever know. This vlog update explains it all. Please watch the full video.

“Long and short of it – I am healing… I am here, I’m not going anywhere, and at the same time – I can’t wait to come back. Please know that I am ok, and when sending me any well wishes, focus on that if you can.”

He continued: “If you want to be an absolute legend and show your love and help support to me through all of this – Please consider picking up some merch, coffee, tab books, bloodline guitar cable, murder axe guitar, guitar lessons, artwork, cameos, my music, and anything else that speaks to you. If donations are more your speed, you can Venmo me @dansugarman.”
