The intergalactic overlords have returned. Shock rock legends GWAR are set to descend upon Earth once again, kicking off their massive spring run, The Gor Gor Strikes Back Tour, this Thursday.

Known for their grotesque costumes, satirical ultra-violence, and legendary stage shows, GWAR is bringing a heavy-hitting lineup to ensure total sonic annihilation. Joining the carnage as direct support is the tribal metal powerhouse Soulfly, with Australian grindcore masters King Parrot opening the gates of chaos every night.

The Chaos Begins: Richmond to Charlotte

The tour officially ignites on March 19th in GWAR’s adopted home turf of Richmond, VA, at The National. From there, the wreckage spans the United States, hitting major markets including Chicago, Los Angeles, and Austin, before concluding the rampage on April 29th in Charlotte, NC.

What to Expect from the Show

Fans (or "human slaves") can expect a visual and auditory assault. This tour marks the return of the fan-favorite prehistoric kaiju, Gor Gor, promising a spectacle of fresh atrocities and new victims.

The Berserker Blothar, GWAR’s lead vocalist, issued a harrowing warning to the masses:

“GWAR, Soulfly and King Parrot. This tour will be a ritual orgy of death, sex, violence and rock and fu**ing roll!! Let the severed heads rain, bouncing down the pyramid onto a heap of human skulls. Be there humans, or be left to suffer on this planet while we party in the stars!”

Why You Can't Miss This Tour

  1. The Lineup: Seeing GWAR is an experience, but adding the legendary Max Cavalera and Soulfly makes this a "must-see" for any metal fan.
  2. Gor Gor Returns: The massive T-Rex puppet is a staple of GWAR lore, and his "strike back" implies a more central role in the 2026 stage production.
  3. The Experience: Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, nothing compares to the "splash zone" of a GWAR concert.
