A new painting of Ozzy Osbourne has been created by a local artist in Birmingham.

Robbie Jeffcott, a Birmingham artist, spent fifteen hours creating a portrait of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne at Birmingham’s Custard Factory.

The mural was completed two weeks ago by world-famous artist Eduardo Saro in Osbourne’s hometown.

Jeffcott said, “I only really paint people I admire. He’s just a living legend, probably the most well-known iconic musician to come from Birmingham. Having people walk past it and do little snaps to tag me on Instagram, it’s good for me. I’ve only had good feedback from it.”

In the video below, you can see how Jeffcott created the mural:

Osbourne Has Been Busy Over The Last Few Months

Ozzy Osbourne has been tearing things up in 2022! Catch what the legendary rocker has been up to and experience the unmistakable energy and sound of this iconic artist.

Last month, Osbourne made a surprise appearance in a video package during World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) annual Survivor Series event.

Osbourne’s new song “Parasite” was one of two songs on the show with a definite anti-Trump sentiment. The Black Sabbath song “War Pigs” was also used in anticipation of the War Games stipulation match, which pits two teams of five wrestlers against one another across two rings and inside a steel cage.

In the video, footage of Osbourne singing along to ‘War Pigs‘ while sitting on a throne is intertwined with shots of wrestlers.

Patient Number 9“, Osbourne’s 13th solo album, was released in September.

At 73 years old and battling with his health, you might not expect Osbourne to keep that bar particularly high,” the article read. “But, for the most part, ‘Patient Number 9’ does just that—it’s a fizzing piece of hard-rock magic.”

Birmingham is home to a vibrant art scene and its latest addition is no exception. A stunning new mural honoring the legendary Ozzy Osbourne has been unveiled in the city’s Jewelry Quarter. The mural, which spans over 20 meters of wall space, brings together the iconic heavy metal frontman with his beloved hometown. Created by renowned artist Robbie Jeffcott, this piece is sure to become a popular landmark for locals and visitors alike.
