2023 Blue Ridge Festival Rocks On with First 12 Bands

The 2023 Blue Ridge Rock Festival is already in the works with festival organizers continuing last year’s rollout style and announcing a handful of acts each day. Today we’re pleased to announce 12 artists including Flyleaf joining this year’s bill.

With Lacey Sturm returning to the band and a previous Taproot reunion announced early in their lineup, Blue Ridge organizers have certainly made a splash with early announcements for 2023. This year’s festival will also see Coal Chamber and Woe, Is Me reuniting for two sets at the festival.

Special moments are nothing new; Blue Ridge organizers have been able to help provide reunions for years. Along with Cold, they’ll also be welcoming a full album set of H.I.M.’s Year of the Spider live performances and solo artist Ville Valo’s return for a full album set as a solo artist.

The annual music festival is returning to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama from May 19-21. Other notable performers include Calvin Harris, Lil Nas X, Flume, Skrillex, Thundercat, Tove Lo, GloRilla and The Backseat Lovers.

The Hangout Music Festival is an annual three-day music festival held on the public beaches of Gulf Shores. It features a variety of genres, from rock to hip hop and more. The festival generally takes place on the third weekend in May. 

Notable acts have performed at Hangout Fest, including Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Queens of the Stone Age, The Black Keys, Paramore, and many more. In addition to music, the festival features several other activities like skateboarding, volleyball or hammocks.

The Hangout Music Festival was founded in 2009 by A.J. Niland, Shaul Zislin, and Lilly Zislin, who is the festival’s creative director. The Hangout Restaurant has been the festival’s home since 1989 and any act performing at the Hangout can stay on a stage up to one hour later than would ordinarily be allowed under city noise laws.

If you’re considering purchasing tickets to the festival, here are some specific guidelines you should know: All ages are welcome with a ticket purchase, but those under 17 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 and up. Kids aged five and under receive free admission if they are accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian. The lineup of artists and schedule is subject to change, so be sure to check back closer to the date of the event. If you want free admission for your kids, there’s a limit of two children per each ticket-holding parent or guardian. You’ll receive your wristband in April after purchase is complete.

TidalWave Music Festival is bringing country vibes to the Atlantic City beachside from Friday, August 11th – Sunday, August 13th. It will last for three days and wrap up on Sunday, August 13th.

Who’s scheduled to appear at the TidalWave Music Festival in 2023?

Brooks & Dunn, Jason Aldean, and Thomas Rhett are some of the musical artists who will be playing at the TidalWave concert this summer. In addition to hosting, Rhett will be on his own “Home Team Tour 23” while the Atlantic City country music event is going on.

The second Annual Festival was even better than the first. We’ll the lineup includes everything from Lindsay Ell, Hailey Whitters, Cole Swindell, Randy Houser, Dustin Lynch, Mitchell Tenpenny, Dylan Scott and more.

Tidalwave 2023 will also introduce a ‘Next From Nashville’ stage, which will feature George Birge, Ben Burgess, Mackenzie Carpenter, Madeline Edwards, Dylan Marlowe, Chase McDaniel, John Morgan, Megan Moroney, Pillbox Patti, MacKenzie Porter and Peytan Porter. Ray Wylie Hubbard will be performing too!

How Can I Get Tickets for TidalWave Music Festival?

There are a number of ways to get TidalWave Music Festival tickets. You can pre-order them through an alumni sale on Friday, December 13th at 10:00 a.m. ET. General passes will be available starting Friday, December 16th, at 10:00 am ET.

The latest speakers announced for South by Southwest 2023 include Patagonia CEO Ryan Gellert, supermodel Miranda Kerr, and actor Cheech Marin.

A news release from Hugh Forrest, chief programming officer for SXSW, said: “Our first announced keynote speaker, Patagonia CEO Ryan Gellert, is a true business leader who is not afraid to pursue systemic reforms to protect the planet in the face of climate change.”

On Monday, SXSW announced a partnership with Rolling Stone for a series that focuses on discovering new music during the music festival. The conference runs March 10-19 in downtown Austin.
