CANDLEMASS has announced its first US dates for 2023! The band will embark on a west coast tour in support of their new album, ‘Sweet Evil Sun,’ released on November 18 via Napalm Records. See all dates below! The upcoming week-long tour will begin on March 10 in Seattle, WA, and conclude on March 17 in San Diego, CA.
CANDLEMASS is one of the most influential epic doom metal bands of all time, having paved the way for a new sound and subgenre. After disbanding in 1994, they returned to action with their self-titled album in 2005 and have since released four studio albums. Sweet Evil Sun’ marks their ninth full-length release and the ultimate return of their classic sound. Fans can expect a mix of new songs alongside their timeless classics when catching them live next year.
CANDLEMASS’s 2023 tour comes hot on the heels of their recent 30th-anniversary celebrations, which saw the band play a series of sold-out shows and festivals across Europe. The tour will also feature support from special guests to be announced later.
