GWAR, the world’s most notorious heavy metal art collective, began streaming their critically acclaimed documentary “This is Gwar” earlier this summer via Shudder. The film details the history of the band, from their early days as a punk rock band in Richmond, Virginia to their present-day status as one of the most iconic and influential metal bands of all time. GWAR has always been known for its over-the-top theatrical puppet stage shows, outrageous costumes, and explicit lyrics, but this film gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the hard work and dedication that goes into making their live shows so memorable. In addition to interviews with all of the current members of GWAR, the film features never-before-seen footage of the band’s early days, including their first-ever show at P.B. Kelly’s in 1985. And now “This is GWAR” will be released on Tuesday, October 25th on Blue-Ray and DVD! And it’s going to be a blast for the die-hard collectors seeking Gwar content that’s brimming with special bonus features! Preorders for physical copies are now live here: https://lnk.to/ThisIsGWAR
