The fact I had no idea The Volume was used on The Batman tells me how good it was and how well it was used. Amazing work by the crew!

I had absolutely no idea those shots were filmed in studio, it really looked to me like it was at the actual location

The Mandalorian.
This is the Way.
I love Gotham in this movie!
I live for this stuff
In batman 2 i want that gotham city vibe more😍
I don’t even know what to believe these days…
This along with Mando will hopefully elimnate blue/green screen forever
But for the car scene they sayd the stunt was real??
It’s amazing how they can make such a beautiful film despite the tough bts process with covid-19 and lockdown! 🦇
Bruh, the fact they worked on this movie using The Volume NEVER crossed my mind. Technology is insane!
I want to see it again and again.
what a movie and also what a BTS 🔥🙌🏼
Its stunning ofc but knowing just now that the city wasn’t real, or built, is kinda bit odd feeling. its like game of thrones built an entire city (king’s landing, winterfell). idk how to feel still that’s some massively great work if they didn’t get the chance to build most of gotham.
😲
I can’t wait for the sequel
I found that for an introduction movie to a new Batman, that while it’s not as good as Batman Begins it was still pretty good overall. There’s certain things that could’ve been a lot better (I found that James Gordon was way too much of a follower in the movie. In other versions, he helps Batman as much as Batman helps him. In The Batman , Batman had to pretty much put all the pieces together for Gordon and it got distracting after a while. Also Catwoman felt like her big purpose was more to push the mystery forward then anything else. And while the climax was fun to watch, it wasn’t really necessary. You could’ve ended the movie with Riddler going to Arkham), but overall there’s enough good elements to this movie to balance everything out. Pattinson as Batman is pretty convincing as a Year-one inspired version of the character. And each of the villains have their own unique ways of being intimidating that are fun to watch. And the mystery thriller-tone and story helps it stand out from other Batman movies. I’d say it’s an 8/10 movie.
I’m bummed that we didn’t get Ben affleck’s DCEU Batman movie, but what we ended up getting was worth the wait.
Just nailed it!!!!!!!!!!!
Cinematography and the visual effects loved it
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The lighting in this movie was incredible. You can’t get the same depth with green-screen.
So….dog and phony show.
When I saw the use of The Volume in Mandalorian it was mind blowing. Glad they are using it instead of green/blue screens. I’m excited to see how this technology is developed and used in the future.
I wish they did feature length documentaries for films still. This is a film I would love to spend a few hours watching the process.
WOW. All this technology for a crap movie… UGH.
Deaaaam
Goated movie
ig this is the first movie to use stagecraft🤔🤔
The whole movie was shot in studio! damnnn 😳
hbo max powerpuff girls 1998
Holy 💥💥💥
Same tech they use in the new Star Wars series
The batman good movie 👍
REVEROF NAMTAB
Gosh! Film making is really difficult now a days. It must be difficult for new directors to understand and execute this LED virtual technology.
I did not realize they used this tech for this movie as well. It really is taking off and with stuff like UE5, its gonna be insane what we’re gonna see in the future and its gonna make for better performances because the actors will actually have something to look at besides a green screen.
This is The Way! Thank ILM and the Star Wars/Mandalorian visionaries for pioneering this tech. Greig Fraser is a BEAST. He’s done tremendous work in the SW world. I thought it was funny that they didn’t name drop Star Wars, although it was obvious.
The Batman is tremendous and did some A+ cityscapes in The Volume! Simply breathtaking!!!
You couldn’t get me to be this artistic if you paid me six figures
This was an absolutely terrible movie. But this is vary cool what they Accomplished here
How did even get the imagery for the screen
i love this movie so much
There were so many moments during The Batman where I wanted to stand up in the theater and start shouting “Cinema! Cinema!”
They do make it believable
Awesome movie, can’t wait for the sequel
terrible movie

That looked like periodic table.
Now i see why it wasn’t nominated for best cinematography catagory.
Epic!
The most and the only batman movie when i was bored so badly.
Matt Reeves needs to stay away from dc.
