anyone else getting a strangely homoerotic vibe from this exchange between these two? The whole time it feels like they’re one moment of eye context away from kissing each other 😂
He’s on a mission from God
Sorry that was kinda lame one like looney tunes type cringe slapstick comedy
2:00 Was this scene scripted or did it happen accidentally and the director decided to keep it in?
This is not meant to be a “DC is better than Marvel” thing, but when this came on I genuinely didn’t notice that there was any CGI in this scene, or even the whole movie for that matter. Really shows how quality over quantity can go a long way, as opposed to Marvel shoving useless CGI in to every scene, eventually leading to overworked and over-budgeted cgi artists making an ugly final third act fight scene, here they actually cared to make sure it looked good, and had someone actually plan out how it was gonna look, instead of constantly changing costumes, textures and the lighting because some dis-interested producer said so.
example; compare Thor Love and Thunder floating head boy to the seem-less transition from CGI to the real actor at 2:05
Batman without cape reminds me of the incredibles scene when Edna says, No capes!
HAPPY BATMAN DAY!!!
OK, that was bloody badass. My favourite Batman movie of all.
Run Gordon, it’s the policeman
Fun fact: The street where Batman crashed after the glide is La Salle Street, the same one used for the iconic truck flipping scene in The Dark Knight
I love how in this scene he gets scared, but instantly brushes it off, and knows he needs to be tough and focus on escaping. Great acting by Pattinson
kinda disappointed he didn’t use a smoke grenade to run away in the hallway, or throw one down before pulling himself up in the staircase.
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s SQUIRREL MAN!
1:33 “Breathe it in. That’s fear.”
“You’re not brave. *Men* are brave.”
Man this Batman sucks at everything. Its almost a parody of Batman.
Excellent scene, but no one survives that bridge in the face moment 😅
Something in the Air
0:56 – Am I only one knows that Kenzie recognise Batman from Iceberg Lounge
2:04 barely an inconvenience
Damn it. I can’t see most of it even on max brightness.
Oh wow this scene parallels with the opening of Mad Max: Fury Road. The cinematography and pacing is extremely similar; I love it.
I’ll say it like I’ve said on every other gcpd video on YouTube, this was the scene that made me realize Pattinson is the best Batman. His vulnerability with his voice and eyes in the holding cell told you what he’s thinking. Then when he reaches the roof, the man that wants to scare people is scared himself
It was epic in theaters, but I’d love to see a little bit more collateral damage than just hitting a one bus
Something was indeed in the way
Crap movie.
Peak Cinematic experience isn’t CGI. Hence, proved.
I kinda like this idea, making a cape a gliding mechanism is cool but in reality we don’t have the technology to make a flexible object like a cape become solid enough to be used to glide as seen in the dark knight trilogy of the Arkham games. Batman didn’t even use his cape to glide until those movies and games came out. This was a awesome display of technology we have that is used in a realistic way (besides the final crash) and allows us to better imagine ourselves in Batman’s position I think
Batman rookie years
This moment right here sealed the deal. I had my doubts originally but this new Batman adaptation was awesome. I hope to see Lucius Fox in “Batman 2″…with his help he could fix the aerodynamic issues with landing in this suit and yes Mr. Wayne it does come in black.
안아줘요
Am I the only one that got Arkham vibes from this?
Dark knight or the Batman
Race you lot to the hot box
Screaming without the s
this movie is garbage
is this a cosplay of batman or something?
Imagine have to do all that everytime he need to fly and was that a bat or a squirrel?
Batman flying theme is lit God tier soundtrack ..🔥
1:47 fall
1:18 grapple
A film with an excellent soundtrack, a perfect storyline, a great cast, great effects, and emotion, it was literally a masterpiece and an unforgettable movie, and I have nothing negative to say about it. Truly worth it, and can’t wait for the future of this Batman trilogy!
You can tell Reeves was a huge fan of the Arkham series.
God, Gordon is close enough to kiss him
I’m willing to bet that in The Batman 2 we will see him Fix all the Tiny mistakes from the 1st movie like I bet they’ll have another scene like this but instead of the Flying Squirrel Glide suit it’ll be the traditional Batwing Cape Gliding and actually Fly perfectly and we as the audience are gonna cheer like crazy
I hope in the next movies his cape is changed to how it is in the comics and Christian Bales Batman cape. He looked like a sugar glider instead of a bat when he flies in this movie hahaha.
Best part of the movie. I loved how Bats hesitated before he jumped off the room
People will pee their pants when he does the superhero landing in the sequels
This batman mask looks just awful. The nose on that thing just looks weird
Wish he rephrased his question “Who’s the mustache with the nose I broke?”
