Siouxsie Sioux will be the first to take the stage in a decade.

Legendary Siouxsie and the Banshees singer Siouxsie Sioux will headline the next Latitude Festival in Suffolk, UK. Between July 20th-23rd, the four-day festival will offer performances from other luminaries such as Pulp, Paolo Nutini, and more. Tickets are now on sale here.

Sioux last performed live at Yoko Ono’s Meltdown Festival in 2013. The most recent recording came in 2015 with the release of a song called “Love Crime,” which helped soundtrack the series finale of the UK series Hannibal.

Earlier this year, Siouxsie and the Banshees announced their new album All Souls. Actress Jenna Ortega also credited the band for inspiring her viral dance.

Susan (born on May 27th 1957), professionally known as Siouxsie Sie, is an English singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. She was the front woman for the rock band Siouxie and the Banshees (1976-1996). There were 11 studio albums released which included a UK Top 20 song “Hong Kong Garden”, “Happy House” and “Peek-a-Boo”, as well as a US Billboard Top 25 hit “Kiss Them for Me”.

Siouxsie formed a second group, the Creatures, after the Banshees broke up in 1995. In her time with the Creatures, she recorded four studio albums and one hit single. After disbanding the Creatures in 2005, she continued as a solo artist, now using the name Siouxsie and releasing Mantaray to critical acclaim in 2007.

Allmusic named Siouxsie Sioux as “one of the most influential British singers of the rock era”. Her songs have been covered by Jeff Buckley, Tricky, and LCD Soundsystem. Her records have also been praised by artists such as PJ Harvey and TV on the Radio. In 2011, she was honored with Outstanding Contribution to Music at the Q Awards and in 2012, at the Ivor Novello Awards, she received the Inspiration Award.
