Looks like Rammstein is coming on an Amerika Tour in 2020, and it will be Wunderbar! The legendary German group has shared a map of North America with highlighted states, most likely taunting a run of live shows.
Rammstein’s map highlights the states of California, Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, and Massachusetts. As for Canada, the province of Quebec is highlighted, while Mexico City looks to be Rammstein’s stop south of the border.


Rammstein posted the map to their Facebook page, connecting fans to their website, where the first few lines of “Amerika” plays as the map fills out. The band also invites fans to join a mailing list to receive further details of Rammstein’s 2020 news.

If Rammstein is coming to a state near you, get your tickets now! Rammstein’s upcoming North American tour will be the band’s first time performing in the United States and Canada. Because of this, they will be playing venues on both sides of the border, including their first-ever show in Minneapolis. The European rockers will also play in Mexico City for the first time since 2005 when they played at Mexico’s Palacio de Los Deportes. Rammstein has sold out concerts across Europe for many years, so make sure you get your tickets soon before it’s too late!

For the release of their 2019 self-titled record, Rammstein spent 2019 touring Europe, causing headlines after guitarists Paul Landers and Richard Z. Kruspe kissed onstage in Russia. Though it’s a normal part of Rammstein’s show, the band’s resistance to Russia’s anti-LGBT laws prompted all kinds of responses from around the world.

So, the iconic German band Rammstein teased a North Amerika Tour in 2020. The map of North America reveals that their stop would be in California, Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, Maryland, New York, and Massachusetts. Additionally, Quebec is highlighted as a Canadian province. Mexico City is also name-dropped as being on the potential tour route south of the border. The band has posted a Facebook post with an invitation for fans to sign up for their mailing list. As of right now, no other information is available about when Rammstein will be coming to America.

As for any confirmation, Rammstein has not yet officially announced their 2020 North Amerika tour. But the band has been working with the promoter AEG Live since 2002. And in 2010, the band was quoted saying that they were “looking forward to coming to America again one day.” In the meantime, keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned for more news on Rammstein’s next North Amerika Tour!

Rammstein’s potential North American tour comes as the band is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. In fact, they are currently in the middle of their 2019 tour across Europe and Asia. The Berlin-based group has been around since 1988 when Rammstein began as a metal project made up of five guys from the east side of Berlin. In addition to their 30th-anniversary celebration, they are also releasing a brand new album on November 24: Rammstein – Amerika.

The band was formed in Herford, Germany in 1989 by vocalist Till Lindemann and guitarist Richard Kruspe. The band achieved international success with the release of their first album Herzeleid in 1994 as well as with their second album Sehnsucht in 1997. Their third studio album, Mutter (2001), became their first to reach number one on the German and Berlin charts and also peaked at number six on the Billboard 200.

Rammstein is one of the most popular German metal bands. Their discography includes six studio albums, five compilation albums, fourteen singles, two live albums, and three DVDs. Their debut album Herzeleid was released in 1994 and peaked at #1 on the German charts. It also reached #3 in Austria and #5 in Switzerland. Their second album Mutter peaked at #1 on the German charts and became the highest-selling album of all time in Germany, with over 11 million copies sold as of 2006. Their fifth album Rosenrot peaked at #2 on the German charts and became their first gold-certified album in Germany. Their sixth album Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da peaked at #3 on the German charts and became their second gold-certified album in Germany. The band has sold over 50 million records worldwide as of 2012.
