The return of the wolves – wilder than ever!
2021 is once more completely under the spell of the wolves. With the announcement of their new studio album, Call Of The Wild. POWERWOLF, the high priest of heavy metal, has turned the heads of fans and critics internationally and hereby seamlessly continues on their unique success story!
The first single from the upcoming album is entitled “Beast Of Gévaudan”. It takes the listener on a powerful journey into the depths of historical France. While the majestically staged music video and its stunning visuals make hearts beat faster just after the primary few seconds.
Matthew Greywolf on the new single:
“We are quite proud to present “Beast of Gévaudan”, the primary song from our upcoming album, Call Of The Wild. The story behind the song couldn’t fit better into the planet of POWERWOLF: It’s a few mysterious beasts that killed countless people within the south of France at the top of the 18th century. The beast was never caught and there have always been many legends surrounding the events, up to the interpretation of the clergy, who saw the beast as ‘God’s punishment’ or maybe as a ‘savior of mankind from the worldly and sinful existence.’”
Once again created in cooperation with the honorable producer duo of Jens Bogren and Joost van den Broek. The masterpiece will open a new chapter in the band’s history on July 16, 2021. The eighth studio album will serve both old and newly recruited POWERWOLF devotees with well-known classic trademarks. Equally, surprise and delight them at every stage of this wild 11-track ride!
Matthew Greywolf on Call Of The Wild:
“With Call Of The Wild, we are opening a new, exciting chapter in the history of POWERWOLF. The album sounds unmistakably like POWERWOLF and is so much more at the same time: Besides new territory like the Celtic instrumentation in “Blood for Blood (Faoladh)” or the ballad-like “Alive or Undead,” we have raised all our trademarks to a new level. Until now, we never sounded so powerful and wild – in the truest sense of the word. We can’t wait to finally share this beast of an album with you all!”

I love music. I love crowded venues, loud music, and sweat-soaked fans. I love the sound of a venue opening its doors to the public.
Hey there! I have a wealth of experience in the entertainment and private event industries, having worked in various roles over the past 20 years. I have a private security background and have received training in defensive strategy, Krav Maga, festival security planning, and emergency response. I've worked at some fantastic concert venues and festivals, such as Emo's East, Stubb's, ACL Festival, Bonnaroo, and SXSW. I've also been fortunate to work in the box office for the Circuit of the Americas and the Germania Music Amphitheater music venue.
In 2014, I developed a passion for all things media-related and began exploring content creation and concert photography opportunities. I have no formal training in these areas, but in 2017, I decided to take it to the next level by pursuing a degree in the arts, specifically in radio, television, and film. I am currently a multimedia journalist for the student life department at ACC. I have received a scholarship from the Austin Film Society.
I've been blessed to have been mentored as a talent buyer under the legendary Mark Lee of 462 Concerts (now known as Live Nation) in Dallas, Tx, for nearly a decade. I've also had the opportunity to work as a camera operator for the Full Moon Features Puppetmaster sequel: Doktor Death and filmed multiple music videos, including SSB's feature single with Bernz, "Insane," and the Dirty Wormz dub hop single with Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko "2INCH REEL KILLA".
I truly believe in capturing the essence of life and representing it in a creative effort. Overall I'm passionate about my work and excited to share my experience and skills with others.
