Ozzy Makes Surprising Appearance In Wwe's Survivor Series Opening 2

Last night, the WWE hosted its 36th annual Survivor Series and to start it off, they called on Ozzy Osbourne to help them with the opening video. Check out the hilarious video, below. In it, Ozzy Osbourne “sings” along to Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” as wrestlers are interrupted by an air-raid siren. The crowd erupted with excitement when the Prince of Darkness showed up. It’s interesting to see a 73-year-old metal icon share the screen with the jacked-up and oiled human specimens that make up the WWE roster, but that’s nothing new. As always, it’s just Ozzy making big exaggerated faces and lip-syncing to the song and I’m not sure what else you were expecting.

WWE has worked with metal musicians before, like Ozzy Osbourne who was featured at a few live events. Motorhead has also played Triple H’s intro music live and new metal bands like Code Orange and Motionless in White are releasing wrestling-related music this year. With Triple H running the show since Vince McMahon was forced to retire earlier this year, I’d expect to see more metal making its way into Raw. The guy’s a certified metalhead, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s considering using Metallica or maybe some AC/DC to promote a big event.

The legendary musician and vocalist of Black Sabbath were joined by his son Jack Osbourne, and their presence lit up the sold-out arena in Chicago.

It has been watching the directions that WWE has been going as of late, and to see the rock and metal worlds being intertwined has us happy as a pig in shit. Who knows what could be next?!
