In an Instagram post, Nita announced that she recently underwent surgery and is now in physical therapy. Additionally, the rock musician shared details about the accident that led to her need for rehabilitation. Nita Strauss is an American rock guitarist who most notably played for the band Alice Cooper. She has also played for Jermaine Jackson, Femme Fatale, and The Iron Maidens. In 2014, she was ranked the Number 1 Female Guitarist in a Guitar World magazine reader’s poll. Strauss was born in Los Angeles, California, on December 7, 1986. She began playing guitar at age eight after being inspired by seeing George Lynch play with Dokken on TV. She later studied classical guitar at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music. In 2008, Strauss joined the all-female Iron Maidens tribute band. She toured with them for four years before joining Alice Cooper’s band in 2014. With Alice Cooper, she has toured extensively throughout Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand. Nita Strauss is doing well after her surgery and has started physical therapy. She is expected to recover and return to playing guitar soon. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and Strauss is now on the mend. The metal guitar legend is on the path to a full recovery with physical therapy. As she is a fighter, I’m sure it won’t be long before she returns to the road.

Hey there! I have a wealth of experience in the entertainment and private event industries, having worked in various roles over the past 20 years. I have a private security background and have received training in defensive strategy, Krav Maga, festival security planning, and emergency response. I've worked at some fantastic concert venues and festivals, such as Emo's East, Stubb's, ACL Festival, Bonnaroo, and SXSW. I've also been fortunate to work in the box office for the Circuit of the Americas and the Germania Music Amphitheater music venue.
In 2014, I developed a passion for all things media-related and began exploring content creation and concert photography opportunities. I have no formal training in these areas, but in 2017, I decided to take it to the next level by pursuing a degree in the arts, specifically in radio, television, and film. I am currently a multimedia journalist for the student life department at ACC. I have received a scholarship from the Austin Film Society.
I've been blessed to have been mentored as a talent buyer under the legendary Mark Lee of 462 Concerts (now known as Live Nation) in Dallas, Tx, for nearly a decade. I've also had the opportunity to work as a camera operator for the Full Moon Features Puppetmaster sequel: Doktor Death and filmed multiple music videos, including SSB's feature single with Bernz, "Insane," and the Dirty Wormz dub hop single with Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko "2INCH REEL KILLA".
I truly believe in capturing the essence of life and representing it in a creative effort. Overall I'm passionate about my work and excited to share my experience and skills with others.

Wish you a speedy recovery. While you have some time on your hands, order one of your Indonesian made Jiva 10 s and check out the horrible fretwork. Mine had zero fret finishing done to it and under magnification you could see the fret nipper burrs. Worst guitar I ever bought. Now you know there’s a problem.

I’ve been there and I got a Torn Rotator surgery in Feb. coming up.
Yeah. Knee injuries suck! 13 fractures in my tibial plateau and torn ACL. Couldn’t walk for 6 months. Only thing that got me through was guitar. Speedy recovery

I had a 5-Hour surgery to repair an ankle I almost lost my foot I just wanted to tell you the complete recovery is totally possible it may hurt like hell and be a son of a bitch most days stay positive and now this too will pass God bless and I will send you prayers

I have had both knee replacements done, you seem to be doing fine. Stairs were always my nemesis, up with the good , down with the bad. I forgot that once, it wasn’t pleasant. Stay with it you’ll be 100% in no time.

I’m having meniscus tear repaired in a few weeks. Way more blood than I imagined tiny little holes. And a leg brace? Really? I thought an ace bandage.
