MC Chris Is Back & Teams Up With Bitforce!
The one and only LA-based nerd rapper MC Chris recently announced that he is setting sail with his new 2018 North American Spring Tour with the perfect supporting act, Bitforce!. If you have no clue who MC Chris is, you need to get caught up, son! The nerdcore rapping pioneer was one of the first rappers ever to incorporate nerd life into his rhymes. I have never seen him perform live, but I can only imagine that his stage show is filled with fun and hilarious antics.
Mc Chris got his start acting, producing, writing, songwriting and being the lead animator for programs on Adult Swim like Sealab 2021, The Brak Show, Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. He has released an incredible seventeen albums and has toured the U.S. numerous times and collaborated with famous rappers and musicians like Talib Kweli, Andrew WK, Cee-Lo, Childish Gambino, and one of my personal favorites, Gwar.
Most recently, MC Chris appeared on a punk compilation album devoted to Dr. Demento and made a cameo on Gwar’s newest album The Blood of Gods.
His music is everywhere and can be found on many TV shows, and movies from Comedy Central’s Broad City and Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance? To Zak and Miri Make a Porno and Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie.
