The German thrash metal legends Kreator announced the “Klash of the Titans” May/June 2023 North America tour! An homage to the original groundbreaking 1990’s “Clash of the Titans” tour. Kreator will hit the road with heavy metal legends Sepultura, Death Angel, and SpiritWorld! The tour will begin Friday, May 12th in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. And looks to be fully concluding Saturday, June 10th, in New York, New York. Tickets and VIP upgrades will go on sale this Friday, January 20th, via Kreator-Terrorzone.de and Sepultura.com.br.

From Kreator Across Social Media:

“Hordes! The time has come…

We return to North America this May with the mightiest of all…Sepultura. A new ‘Klash Of The Titans’ partnership and an absolutely stacked bill from start to finish with Death Angel and SpiritWorld joining us.

Shadows loom over North America with an ominous silence as heaven and hell alike prepare to witness: ‘Klash Of The Titans’.”

Tickets on sale this Friday, see you in the pit!

Sepultura’s Andreas Kisser exclaimed: “I’m very excited to be back in North America with our friends and my personal idols Kreator! They were a very strong influence in our early days, and it’s great to see they are stronger than ever, which is how I feel with Sepultura as well. It’s going to be a historical run. Thrilled to have our brothers from Death Angel and the awesome Spiritworld with us. Do not miss this, metal is alive and well, so let’s celebrate ‘Klash of the Titans North America 2023’ on the road! See you all soon!“

Back in the Spring of 1991, fans of the heavier forms of music across the United States were in for a mind-melting treat. The original “Clash of the Titans” U.S. tour kicked off in Dallas, Texas on May 16, 1991, with an epic two-month-long tour featuring some of metal’s biggest names! Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, and Alice In Chains all performed on this history in the making tour. Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian once gave fans a little back history of the original “Clash of the Titans” tour in an interview via Guitar World, they stated that they expressed interest in wanting Pantera as the opening act for the OG “Clash Of The Titans” tour. But Pantera declined. Other bands, such as Exodus, Vio-lence, Kreator and Obituary, also reportedly declined to take part in the tour as direct opening support.
