King 810 are one of the leaders of modern heavy music, straight out of the blue-collar city of Flint, Michigan. This urban decayed city has a vast rich music history that has helped to shape the sound and tone of this band. King 810 specializes in a blend of nu-metal and modern hard rock, echoing the tenacious spirit that can be found in Flint’s bloody streets. Their musical style is often characterized by aggressive guitars and heavy drums, with vocals from frontman David Gunn combining elements of metallic hardcore and rap to create an intense listening experience. With their unique fusion of genres, King 810 stand out as one of the few bands who are able to capture the essence of the “Vehicle City within their vivid murderous lyrics and hellish sounds. Formed originally as just KING (2007) around the talents of frontman David Gunn, guitarist Jason Hale, guitarist Andrew Beal, bass player Eugene Gill, and drummer Andrew Workman, King 810 brilliantly flexes their musical muscles on every track they record. Their blend of metalcore rock is raw and real–it’s a sound that resonates with listeners struggling in the rust belt of America that are looking for something in music to really connect with.
