Its not the Doom EP.
Holy shit the bass
m/-_-m/
This is more squared off than I’d like it to be. I really fucking like it. That’s my impasse.
Sounds Beast Mode Af Through And Through but it doesnt give what Genesis/Ruination offered tbh.. Even DOOM.
I have been wanting. I have been waiting.
This is what The Faceless could have been.
pppfjffjffpfpffjoweffoid HOLY FUCK

I LOVE an album where the bass is heard. That’s why i love death the band.
solid listen tbh
I wasn’t aware of this band as it was suggested by the algorythm… I must admit I first wasn’t enclined to listen, as the band name sounds a bit confusing: What part of moon healing is supposed to be a job for a cowboy? Aside from a lame name, unless there is a very meaningful reason why this name, the music is, oddly, diametrically opposed, as I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED to find out! I don’t like the vocals much though, as they are in the quite average growl range, without them bringing anything new to set it apart from the flock. However, since I wasn’t familiar with this band before discovering them through youtube, I will give them benefit of doubt as to where they are coming from, vocally speaking (pun intended)… As I am writing this, the music keeps playing and I even find some of the vocal range more innovative in approach than I originally picked up at first ear. Overall, after three tracks, I shall grant them 7/10 for their energy and how tight the music is, but as far as originality goes, if it wasn’t for the creative bass patterns spicing it up, the song structures and blast beats would quickly seem redundant. Hence ny appreciation for the level of technicality the bass player has reached. He reminds me of one of @Obscura’s session bass players on one of their first few albums…
Anyways, I digress, yet I insist, the saving grace, imo, is the drum and bass structure of this band and the way they scaffold each track to a solid foundation’s escalation, however usual the building might appear to be, from the outside, it’s structurally sound (again, pun intended, I’m on fire lol)
THEREFORE: Rate “Moon Healer” 7/10, an Interesting discovery for me, tight structured songs, yet not that original, unless one is not my age and just discovered blast beating… BUT STILL #abstractoidZapproveD by #abstractoidZdoTcoM on abstractoidZ.coM

Holy shit! This is probably their best album. So glad they’re back at it. I needed this in my life.

that lead around 5:10 is so f*kn sick
Quite different from what i remember hearing their name, will have to check out more of their music again
Boy howdy
I haven’t enjoyed an album this much in a couple years. This blew my doors off. Vinyl has 10 spins already.
Doesn’t even sound like them. 2006 was peak JFAC
sounds sooooo gooood
The bass on this album gives me huge Ryan Martinie vibes and its fucking amazing. AOTY for me so far.
wow, still waiting for “doom 2”
Sounds exactly like everything else theyve put out since Genesis. Yawn.
๐๐๐๐๐ Pig squeals???
At last, good deathcore!
Would love to see a guitar tab book and some artist playthroughs of the guitars and bass for a few of these tracks. Looks like this band has never done either before
Been waiting along time
For this sweet goodness
Gorgeous
Sun eater.
Moon healer
People who donโt appreciate this shit are dingledorfs
This shit got me doin air guitar solos at red lights
This album has blown my fucking mind! With Naveen on drums they just took it to another astral plane. What a great revival of a beast of a band. Thanks guys! Come tour Florida please!
I’m so glad that we actually got a follow-up to Sun Eater. At this point JFAC give strong competition to progressive death metal greats like Beyond Creation and The Ritual Aura – and they make it sound easy. It’s a beautiful thing seeing a band still at the top of their game after 10 years.
Every sane man’s favorite band ๐๐ฎ
Fuckin love you Job I’ve been an avid listener since the beginning
Can’t get enough of Grinding Wheels of Ophanim! The chorus is forever stuck in my head. His vocal delivery is just perfect.
I’ve listened to this dozens of time now and I’m still trying to grasp it. I’m reading the lyrics now along with each song and it’s absolutely overwhelming to simply take in all of the musical and lyrical genius packed into this 39 minute album. It is like they jammed 10 years of intricate and incredible work into 8 songs with the depth of which I may have never witnessed. Masterpiece.
I can’t tell the difference between the 2nd and 3rd track.
FINALLY!!!!!
Definitely picking this up on vinyl as well. The CD with get scratches from playing it as much as Terrasite!
The vocals are horrible laughable god awful sonic mess try a good false chord screamer like Chris motionless for example
