Insane Clown Posse made a heartfelt announcement onstage at this year’s ICP seminar at the Gathering of the Juggalos, revealing Violent J has been affected by a coronary failure. As a result, ICP will start a farewell tour next year, though the duo decides to continue playing one-off shows such as The Gathering, Hallowicked, Juggalo Day, etc.

Violent J has noticeably slimmed down over the years. The rapper chose to reduce after being affected by serious knee issues, which were being exacerbated by his obesity. Though Violent J didn’t reveal the explanation for his heart issues, he described his struggle intimately ahead of a crowd of Juggalos.

“For those of you that haven’t been to my house, the studio is perhaps 40 yards from my front entrance. I noticed walking bent the studio a day, by the time I need to the fucking studio, I used to be winded,” Violent J says. “Then when I’d walk up to my mailbox, I’d be like, ‘Oh fuck, I’ve needed to take an opportunity .’ What the fuck’s the problem?”

“We visited the hospital to ascertain what’s happening. They did an ultrasound. the woman who was watching my heart, we could tell she was tripping about something, but she wasn’t a doctor. The doctors were all engaged upstairs within the hospital, understandably. She told me, ‘They want you to travel straight home, get in bed and they’ll call you initially thing within the morning.’

He continues, “They called before the birds even awakened and fucking told me to travel to the hospital. They took me within the back and shit, and basically, they only came out and told me I even have coronary failure. That scared the shit out of me.”
