The Eagles are a rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1971. The original lineup consisted of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner. The band’s music is a blend of rock, country, and folk, and they are known for their tight harmonies and catchy melodies.

One of The Eagles’ most famous and iconic albums is “Hotel California,” which was released in 1976. The album features some of the band’s best-known songs, including the title track, “New Kid in Town,” and “Life in the Fast Lane.” “Hotel California” was a massive commercial success and has been certified 16 times platinum in the United States. It has also received critical acclaim and is widely considered one of the greatest albums of all time.

The Eagles went on to release several more successful albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, and they became one of the best-selling and most popular rock bands in the world. They took a hiatus in the 1980s but reformed in 1994 and have continued to tour and record music. The current lineup of the band consists of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, all original members, and Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, who joined the band after Glenn Frey’s death in 2016.
