We’re ready to mosh ‘n’ roll after just learning about this one! We here at Noise from the Pit are talking about Corey Taylor’s (Slipknot/Stone Sour) latest Metal Hammer exclusive interview, we’re the renowned heavy metal magazine reported that Corey Taylor and Jim Root have finally rekindled their musicianship collaborative bond in regards to working on more music together outside of the influential 9. And the Slipknot metal stars just revealed (published today) that they’re in the midst of launching a new music project together beyond both Stone Sour and Slipknot.

Corey Taylor even mentioned that Root and him have worked out past difficulties and look to be thrilled on working together once more.

“He and I are very different people,” Mr. Taylor said to Metal Hammer‘s very own Morat, “and we were both going through our own shit in life. We reconnected, and we’re actually talking about doing some stuff on the side, outside of Slipknot and Stone Sour

It’s cool to find your friend again,” Corey reveals, “and realize that you can find your way back to people that you care about. Honestly, I can’t sit here and say that I wasn’t responsible for some of the bad feelings. That can only come with self-reflection, and the fact that the things that were going on in my life rippled and affected other people. Once you own up to that, you can start to mend bridges by showing people that you are truly sorry.”

Astonishing enough. Inside the same Metal Hammer exclusive interview. Corey Taylor also explained that the latest Slipknot single “Yen” is truthfully a love song to his wife, Alicia Dove. Powerful! You can read the full brand new Metal Hammer Slipknot/Stone Sour report here:
