The metal band has announced reunion shows in celebration of their classic 2003 album “The Impossibility Of Reason.” The band will be performing the album in its entirety at May 12 and 13 at The Agora in Cleveland, OH. This news comes as a surprise to many fans, as the band has been inactive since 2012. In that time, frontman Mark Hunter has been focused on running his record label (You Are Accepted) and playing with his other project, Devil You Know. However, it seems that the lure of performing CHIMAIRA’s debut album once again was too strong to resist. 

“The Impossibility Of Reason” is generally considered to be one of the best metal albums of the 2000s. It established CHIMAIRA as a force to be reckoned with in the metal world and helped pave the way for a new wave of American heavy metal.
