Nintendo Switch Pro with OLED display release date just leaked

Nintendo Switch Pro with OLED display release date just leaked

Nintendo’s current Switch model remains a solid seller. However, many are wondering when a brand new model of the popular system would finally hit the market. This falls in line with a brand new report by Bloomberg, it’s finally planning to happen this fall. The report states that Nintendo plans to start the assembly of a new Switch as soon as July. Therefore the release would follow in September or October. This new model also will likely cost more than the first $299 price point. Once released will phase out the standard Switch, though the $199 Switch Lite will still be offered. As for timing, it might be announced before E3, which starts June 12th.

The reason for that might be to permit publishers to reveal their upcoming games for the new system at E3. Allowing them to take advantage of the buzz. A Nintendo spokesman declined to comment. The new Switch model will carry a 7-inch Samsung OLED display and an upgraded graphics processor to allow for 4K output to a TV

Assemblers could start shipping the new model in July. Which consistent with sources, the production is scheduled to peak within the October to December quarter. Though it remains to be seen how semiconductor shortages, which have affected the PS5, Xbox Series X, and original Switch, will affect the new Switch model.

It’s actually quite surprising that it has been 4 years without an upgrade to the core system. With the system still selling well and Nintendo admitting that it hasn’t been ready to get as many Switch’s to market. As it wanted thanks to shortages, the new model should have no issue hitting the ground running.

That’s especially if true if the E3 rollout is as reported, as Nintendo will build buzz with the new model announcement and publishers can ride that momentum with a flurry of announcements at E3’s virtual convention this year. it’ll also help keep the momentum the Switch has enjoyed at the same time as the PS5 and Xbox Series X buzz continues to rise.

We’ll need to wait and see if this pans out, but if so it might seem this might be another Platonic year for Nintendo fans.

Cobra Kai Season 4 Teaser Confirms Return of Karate Kid Villain

Cobra Kai Season 4 Teaser Confirms Return of Karate Kid Villain

The final episode of Cobra Kai Season 3 offered some pretty serious hints that Season 4 would mark the return of the villainous Terry Silver. The person who founded the Cobra Kai dojo. He was given a secret backstory throughout Season 3. With the reveal that he was a prisoner of war. Alongside John Kreese in Vietnam, was a scene within the finale that saw Kreese devour the phone to call an old war buddy. It seemed as if Silver’s return was a certainty. However, any doubt that this was a misdirection has now been put to rest. Netflix has officially confirmed Terry Silver’s involvement in Cobra Kai Season 4.

On Thursday morning, Netflix released a brief teaser for Season 4 of Cobra Kai. It showed the rear of a modern-day Terry Silver, played once more by Thomas Ian Griffith. The teaser video featured a voiceover from the character, featuring lines of his dialogue from The Karate Kid Part III. you’ll watch the video above!

“Since the start of the series, we’ve been carefully orchestrating the proper moment to unleash Cobra Kai dojo co-founder Terry Silver back to the universe,” executive producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg said during a statement. “That moment is now. We can’t await the entire world to experience Thomas Ian Griffith’s majestic return to the franchise.”

In The Karate Kid Part III, Silver presented himself as an ally to Daniel LaRusso. Telling him what proportion further he could take him in karate and drawing him far away from Myagi. However, Silver proved to be far more of a villain than he initially let on.

While Season 4 is bringing another foe back to the fold, Daniel and Johnny appear to be stronger than ever, as they ended Season 3 by joining forces for the very first time.

PlayStation Direct Finally Opens A New Queue For The PS5

PlayStation Direct Finally Opens A New Queue For The PS5

Sony is once more giving its PlayStation fans an attempt at owning a PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. The new stock set to be released soon through PlayStation Direct. The PlayStation-to-consumer marketplace confirmed its plans to unload more of the new consoles. Simply by opening up another queue for people to enter before the sales get underway. These consoles never take long to sell out once they go live. However, so those wanting an attempt at them will want to hop within the queue as soon as possible.

Most people who’ve been keeping their eyes on the PlayStation Direct stock announcements for the PlayStation 5 may have spotted queues like these within the past that opens up and provides would-be console owners an opportunity to secure an area in line before the stock officially goes on sale. You’ll put yourself in line for the PlayStation Direct store by going here. Just make certain that you simply have your PlayStation Network ID handy and your payment information ready. That way, you do not get hung up at the top of the transaction.

How Does This New Playstation Direct Queue Work?

This new process may be a continuous change. From what we’re used to seeing from PlayStation Direct. Rather than just opening the line up randomly and leaving people to attend in line for a short time. Left to seek out the consoles sold out when you’re admitted to the web store. This lounge before the queue gives people a countdown for when the important queue starts. Once that happens, assuming you were already within the lounge, you get plopped into a random spot within the most queue.

The idea behind the change, presumably, is to further hamper the prevalence of bots and scalpers scooping up the PlayStation 5 consoles as soon as they’re available. Rather than rewarding those that plant themselves on the PlayStation Direct store within the least times to urge in the queues as soon as they begin. This new system puts waiters during a random spot within the main queue. Putting them in the order that regardless of how long you were waiting before the queue starts. You’ve got an honest shot at getting the PlayStation 5. You continue to need to sign in to your PSN account to get either version of the console though. So confirm you’ve got that info handy to expedite the method.

The PlayStation Direct queue will officially be underway soon, so make certain to hop in now while you’ll if you continue to need a PlayStation 5.

Is GTA 6 In The Works Finally?

Is GTA 6 In The Works Finally?

Rockstar Games parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has finally responded to rumors and speculation about GTA 6. Unfortunately, its response is borderline non-response. At the moment, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive still haven’t confirmed or disconfirmed the new installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. Right now, there’s no indication this will change anytime soon.

A few days ago, Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, participated in Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media & Telecom Conference. And as you would expect, one investor used the opportunity to ask about GTA 6. More specifically, when it could release.

Replying to this inquisitive investor, Zelnick noted that Rockstar Games hasn’t announced any new games for the market. Further, when the time does come for Rockstar to announce a new game, it will come the way of Rockstar. Not Zelnick.

Right, so, Rockstar hasn’t announced any new titles for the market and when there’s an announcement to be made it’ll come from Rockstar, so I’ll probably leave you there and I don’t think you would have expected anything else,” said the Take-Two Interactive CEO.

Unfortunately, this is all Zelnick had to say in response to the question. However, as some Grand Theft Auto fans have pointed out. Zelnick didn’t outright deny the game’s existence when he was asked when it may release. Of course, this doesn’t mean anything. At least of consequence, but he could have confirmed it wasn’t in development if it wasn’t. At this point, it’s safe to assume the game is in development. For now, this lack of de confirmation shouldn’t be taken as a confirmation that it is in development, but it’s certainly worth noting.

Grand Theft Auto 6 has yet to be announced, but it’s believed to be in development for PS5, Xbox Series X, and possibly PC.

E3 2020 Gaming Convention Officially Cancelled

E3 2020 Gaming Convention Officially Cancelled

The E3 2020 Gaming Convention Has Officially Cancelled Over Public Health Concerns

E3,E3 2020,officially cancelled,los angeles,

E3 2020 has officially been dropped because of worries over the coronavirus, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has uncovered. The news returns on the of the previous evening’s explosion of reports that the signature gaming convention would be dropped for the current year, and on the back of many major events — gaming and non-gaming related — being canned the last few weeks over similar concerns. The show was initially intended to go down this June. All the more specifically, it was set to start on June 9 and through June 11 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

“After careful consultation with our member companies regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry–our fans, our employees, our exhibitors, and our longtime E3 partners–we have made the difficult decision to cancel E3 2020, scheduled for June 9-11 in Los Angeles,” the ESA said in a statement.

The ESA is investigating alternatives presently to create an online occasion in June 2020.

Since its origin in 1995, the occasion has never missed a year, making the moment in gaming history. All things considered, while the show has never been dropped, most gamers and gaming industry fans aren’t exceptionally surprised. Not just have shows of comparable scale been dropping like flies, yet there have been thunderings and bits of gossip about an E3 crossing out for half a month at this point.

Paving the way to this, various significant players had just reported they wouldn’t go to the show for a bunch of reasons. Back in January, Sony Interactive Entertainment formally declared it would not be going to the ebbing consumer meets public convention.

“After a thorough evaluation, SIE has decided not to participate in E3 2020,” said Sony at the time. “We have great respect for the ESA as an organization, but we do not feel the vision of E3 2020 is the right venue for what we are focused on this year.”

Since January, The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley — who hosted E3 Coliseum the past couple of years — announced he would also be skipping the show. Meanwhile, just this week the show lost one of its big creative director partners. All of this is to say, the writing has been on the wall for a while.
