Austin, Texas — September 10, 2019 — South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference and Festivals (March 13–22, 2020) has announced the initial Keynote and Featured Speakers for the 34th edition of its annual Conference, which celebrates the convergence of technology, film, and music industries. 

We’re kicking off the 2020 season with a captivating group of speakers. From Keynotes Reggie Fils-Aimé, who oversaw Nintendo of America during its most successful era, and Kim Gordon, a creative virtuoso whose passion and achievements have paved the way for others, to our diverse range of expert Featured Speakers, these talents prove that SXSW is the premier destination for innovation and creative discovery,” said Hugh Forrest, Chief Programming Officer.

We’ve also added new tracks and more programming to the second half of the week, as our event evolves to reflect the continued convergence of the industries who gather here.

The SXSW Conference is organized into 22 programming tracks, divided between Interactive, Film, Music, and Convergence themes and presented in a variety of session formats. The 2020 Conference will present several new and updated tracks, including Climate & Social Action, Connection & Culture, Game Industry, and Professional Development. Once again, SXSW is offering expanded access to events for all registrants. Attendees will receive primary access to programming associated with their badge type but now also enjoy secondary entry to most other SXSW events. Newly-announced SXSW 2020 Keynotes include:

This Just In: ACL Fest awesome lineups for Late Night Shows

By now, we all know that Austin City Limits is returning to Zilker Park on October 4-6 and October 11-13. Lizzo will be there, as well as Cardi B, Guns N’ Roses, Mumford & Sons, Childish Gambino, and The Cure.

But what happens when the final headliner ends their set and thousands of festival-goers head home? That’s when the real fun starts.

On August 20, ACL Festival unveiled the stacked schedule of official Late Night Shows, running October 3-13. Shows take place on both weekends of ACL and the week in between the festival at Stubb’s, Scoot Inn, Emo’s, 3Ten at ACL Live, The Parish, The Continental Club, and Antone’s.

This year, snag tickets to special performances by Gary Clark, Jr., Jenny Lewis, TroyBoi, James Blake, Blackillac, Third Eye Blind, BANKS, Sigrid, King Princess, GRiZ, Kali Uchi, and dozens more. See the full lineup here.

Prices are decided by the venue, so there is no universal ticket cost. It’s worth mentioning that Alesia Lani is playing a free show at Stubb’s Indoors on Thursday, October 10, and Stubb’s is also hosting its famed Gospel Brunch on Sunday, October 6, and Sunday, October 13. Levitation in Austin, Texas, may represent one of the largest cross-sections of independent rock, subgenre non-specific, going on in the U.S. today. Austin City Limits 2019 Lineup Revealed

Austin City Limits has revealed its 2019 lineup. The 18th annual world-renowned music festival will take place at Zilker Park, October 4-6 and October 11-13.

Fridays of both Weekend One and Two will be headlined by Guns N’ Roses, Tame Impala, and the Raconteurs. This will be Guns N’ Roses’ first performance in Austin since 1993, and their first-ever ACL Fest performance.

In Austin City Limits, there will also be performances by Thom Yorke Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, Tyler Childers, Judah & The Lion, RL Grime, Jenny Lewis, and more on Fridays.

Both Saturdays of Weekend One and Two will be headlined by heavy hitters like Childish Gambino and The Cure. Breakout star, 17-year-old Billie Eilish is also headlining. Other sets will include Gary Clark Jr., James Blake, Kali Uchis, Lauren Daigle, Hippie Sabotage, Mexican pop superstar Natalia Lafourcade and more.

Mumford & Sons and country music crossover Kacey Musgraves will perform on both Sundays. Rapper Cardi-B will perform during Weekend One. Robyn, who will be wrapping up her 2019 tour, will perform on Weekend Two. Lil Uzi Vert, Lizzo, Third Eye Blind (Weekend Two), Rebelution, and many more will finish off the weekends.

Juggalo Day Weekend in New Orleans. Who would’ve thinketh right? Well just announced via the Insane Clown Posse’s Facebook page, ticket and upgrade info are now available through Ticketmaster (prepare for crazy ass fees) for both days. Look no further the scoop on the ticket and upgrade info for Juggalo Day Weekend in New Orleans Louisiana this February 16th & 17th are below.

I took the liberty of scoping out the ticket prices for you, so you know the ducket sitcho.

A General Admission ticket is $30, but after fees and such, it comes to $40.25 per ticket

Now if you’re a bit older or like to kick back during the show in style, you can opt for the balcony seating. Those run a whopping $65 bucks. After paying the man his slice it comes to $81.50 per ticket

 

You also have the option for dinner and parking upgrades.

The Dinner upgrade is $35 and you receive a voucher good for $50 to dine in House of Blues Restaurant and Bar before the show! (Valid for the night of show only / show ticket required for entry)

The parking upgrade, which if you didn’t know to park in downtown New Orleans(especially by the French Quarter) is a little tight and a pain in the ass. This upgrade is for a garage that is 4 minutes from the venue and only costs $18. Parking passes permit parking for at least one hour before and after the event. All purchased passes will be digitally delivered.
